The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a unified indirect tax system that replaced multiple taxes like VAT, Service Tax, and Excise Duty in India. If you run a business, sell goods, or provide services, understanding your GST registration requirement is essential โ€” failing to register when required can lead to heavy penalties.
